Golden years befriending service - Cyrenians

The service is aimed at people aged 60+ experiencing loneliness and social isolation. Clients may also be affected by anxiety, depression, bereavement, limited mobility and/or may have recently returned home after a stay in hospital. They may have limited or no social network and their family may live far away.

Individuals are referred from health, social care and third sector professionals who have identified an issue with isolation and / or loneliness in the person they have been supporting.
